Terms & Conditions

1Eligibility

• The renter must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid Indian driving licence (LMV class), issued at least 1 year prior to the rental date, is mandatory.
• A valid Aadhar card must be submitted for identity verification.
• An active mobile number is required for OTP and communication purposes.

2Booking & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the full rental amount and security deposit.
• The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
• Prices quoted are exclusive of fuel. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pickup.
• A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of booking and is returned upon safe return of the vehicle.

3Vehicle Usage

• The vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, or carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
• Sub-letting the vehicle to another person is not permitted.
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, or any commercial transportation of passengers (e.g., taxi services).
• Outstation travel is permitted within Maharashtra only, unless prior written approval is obtained from Drive Yourself.

4Insurance & Liability

• All vehicles are covered under comprehensive motor insurance.
• In the event of an accident, the renter is responsible for the insurance excess/deductible amount as specified at the time of rental.
• Damage caused due to negligence, drunk driving, or violation of these terms will not be covered by insurance, and the renter will bear full repair costs.
• Any accident or damage must be reported to Drive Yourself immediately and an FIR must be filed with local police.

5Return of Vehicle

• The vehicle must be returned to the same pickup location at the agreed time.
• Late returns will be charged at the applicable hourly or daily rate.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as delivered. Any new damage found at return will be deducted from the security deposit.

6Traffic Penalties

• The renter is solely responsible for all traffic fines, challans, and penalties incurred during the rental period.
• Any penalty received by Drive Yourself due to the renter's traffic violation will be recovered from the security deposit.

7Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
